Rotary Clubs and Districts in many countries organise Camps and Tours which last from one to four weeks, usually during Summer. These are mostly in the Northern hemisphere due to the seasonal and academic year differences with the South. The majority of Camps occur between June and late August.

District 6270 is a member of Central States Rotary Youth Exchange, which is able to sponsor student exchanges to 43 countries. The exchange is one of the least expensive programs available. Students spend approximately 10 1/2 months in a host country, with an average of three host families.

Aug 29, 2016· The Eastern States Student Exchange Program (ESSEX) organizes both longterm and shortterm Rotary student exchanges for 36 Rotary International Districts. ESSEX works with districts in 16 states in the eastern United States, Bermuda and Quebec, Canada, and exchanges with over 30 countries worldwide.
Students are supported through their local and sponsor Rotary clubs in the destination country. Additionally each student will go through extensive training before departure. Rotary volunteers work to ensure the safety of exchange students throughout the exchange

Dec 21, 2009· Sorry this is long but it's a big decision! I'm a junior now and I'd absolutely LOVE to travel to anywhere in europe or south america with an exchange program next year! I've looked over a few programs and Rotary and AFS seem the best to me. My friend's traveling with rotary right now and she says it's the best and it seems like it really could be, but I want to know all the differences still.
